DuraHeart™

Terumo Heart Inc. has created an international team of motivated and highly talented associates in order to produce high quality health care products. We strive to work together to produce products that will benefit the lives of our patients and their families.

Our primary focus is the development and clinical use of the DuraHeart™ Left Ventricular Assist System (LVAS). The DuraHeartTM LVAS is a third-generation rotary blood pump designed for long-term patient support. It incorporates a centrifugal flow rotary pump with a magnetically levitated impeller to pump blood from the heart around the body.

The DuraHeart™ System
